Exactly 135 days following the previous coach's initial media briefing as the club's manager, his replacement Danny Rohl met with reporters at Ibrox for the first time.

The magnitude of the challenge ahead of him is widely recognized, considering his predecessor's turbulent and unsuccessful 123-day spell.

The ex- Sheffield Wednesday boss was joined by chairman Andrew Cavenagh, along with the frequently questioned pair of football director Thelwell and CEO Stewart.

But what exactly was revealed from the young German's maiden media outing as Rangers boss?

The Manager's Main Priority - Victory is Everything

One thing came through clearly from Rohl's initial presentation before the Scottish media - he recognizes the necessity to win matches, and do so quickly.

The previous manager Martin managed just 17 games and four months as manager, so the question arose about what timeframe the new man thinks is realistic to turn around the struggling team.

Although deftly sidestepping a specific response that might create later expectations, the coach's message was very evident.

"With hope as soon as possible," he said. "This is essential.
"In football you have limited opportunity. One can talk about future plans but we know it concerns immediate results and that period involves securing victories. This is what I demand.
"Another aspect is also obvious - I require all players to comprehend our intended to perform. I return to my main message: it's winning, entertaining football and unity. By following this sequence, I believe that I will remain very long at the club."

Expectations are Normal

Martin required security protection to leave the Falkirk Stadium after his last game in charge.

We've witnessed how toxic situations can turn at football clubs when performances decline. Protests have nearly become a regular aspect of the matchday experience on each part of Glasgow these days.

As the club's most youthful manager in history, the inquiry asked about what qualities Rohl believes he has that would enable him to cope, let alone excel, in among the most pressurized roles in UK soccer?

"In my opinion expectations in this business is normal," he stated. "You must learn that very quickly.
"I believe certain individuals could reference my age but I have been 16 years on this path. I experienced an excellent chance to be at the German club and serve as only an assistant manager, but I felt the reality to be a head coach and the demands involved.
"You begin winning games and then certain people will say you need to play attractive football. That's the next stage but that's exactly my intention. I enjoy those expectations and I look forward about what's ahead."

The Sporting Director Explains Chermiti Signing & Appointing His Son

Kevin Thelwell media conference

The media pack had numerous questions from journalists for Thelwell.

Much discussion has focused on the appointment of Robbie Thelwell as recruitment chief, with fans unconvinced about his credentials for the position.

Nevertheless, he defended and explained the decision to recruit Thelwell Jnr to Ibrox.

"It's always uncomfortable to hear and optically I think everyone understood when we made this step to appoint Robbie that he would be seen in a particular way," Thelwell said.
"The reality of the situation is that we aim to attract the very best players here.
"My view on his professional path and background is he didn't need my assistance in football.
"He served at Aston Villa as a senior scout, after which he moved to Norwich as scouting chief and then got promoted to development role.
"Before we recruited him, multiple top division clubs wanted to acquire him. What we did from the start of the process was discuss with the CEO, Andrew and deputy chairman Marathe about this situation.
"I was extremely transparent and I think Robbie probably underwent a stricter procedure than any other employee by the team.
"What I do know is that he'll labor constantly to be successful for this football club and I anticipate seeing him proving that he's going to be a valuable employee for Rangers."

Additionally, Thelwell defended the signing of striker Chermiti, who arrived at the club for a reported first payment of £8m, after failing to find the net in 24 appearances for his previous club.

It was Thelwell who brought the Portugal young international to Liverpool from Sporting - again for large funds in a £15m deal.

The question came if he stands by his expensive purchase, who is yet to score in seven matches for the club.

"Yes, very much so," Thelwell responded. "I think the striker is a player who's got great ability.
"I've never doubted him whatsoever. Similarly, I believe the manager will help to get the best out of the player.
"It's very initial stages for him, he's a young talent and of course with inexperienced players they occasionally require patience.
"However, I'm convinced over the course of his time here he'll demonstrate that he is very, very good footballer."

Stewart Understands Supporters' Disappointment and Hurt

Stewart was also facing firing line, given the criticism that has been aimed at him by certain club fans.

There was even a banner in the stadium during the recent draw with Dundee United suggesting him - and Thelwell - to depart before being removed for them.

Similar to the football director, Stewart didn't evade the topic.

"I totally appreciate the frustration and anger that the supporters are feeling because results this season haven't met expectations and nobody's happy with those," he said.
"The hurt and disappointment fans experience is matched within the leadership.
"Also understand that there has to be a channel for those frustrations and as chief executive, I'm responsible.
"I serve as focal point for those and my responsibility as a
